How can I lose weight fast with out hurting my bad leg?
filed in Beat belly Bulge Diet on Feb.05, 2012
I’m a teenager and I’ve gained some weight that I want to lose. I got hit by a car a few years ago, so I have a bad back and knees. It hurts to run and do some exercises. So I was wondering what kinds would be good for me. Thanks

Swim laps or some other form of aquatic exercise.

You can still do some swimming where you just use your arms, and yoga is a really great form of exercise and it’ll really help with the pain from the injuries. Eating right you can still lose weight without exercise, but exercise just makes it come off quicker. Here are some good articles if your interested. Hope this helps and good luck feeling better than ever.

Lose weight fast

Fast should not be the operative word. If you have a bad leg, carrying excess weight is certainly not good for it.
Here is a time honored method for weight loss and weight control.
It takes a little more time at the table and some self discipline, but it is the first step.
Most parents since the beginning of time have told their children “Chew your food!’
Unfortunately, they didn”t tell them how well to do it!
They should have told them to chew every bite until it became liquid in their mouth.
Chewing is, obviously, is predigesting your food. The better you do it the happier you stomach will be!
AND! Because it takes a little longer to eat, the appetite triggers in your mind will turn off a heck of a lot quicker.
I have a problem with people I tell this to who say ‘I don’t have the time to eat like that!’.
Oh, really? You have time for a million other things, but you don’t have time to take care of your body?
When you cram your food in and swallow it almost whole, your body says ‘Oh. Oh. There must be hard times coming so I had better store as much of this as I can!.’. Check out how sumo wrestlers gain so much weight. The starve themselves alll day long and then gorge at night.
Learning how to eat is step one to weight loss. The second step is to have a plan.
You have to plan what and what to eat. I have looked at many plans and believe me, there is no 100% perfect plan! There is no ‘one size fits all’!
However, there are some that are better than others. Check out the following link.
Another thing to keep in mind is in fact your mind. You have a lot of predjuices and belief system that have gotten you to where you are now. Don’t look for that one little thing in a plan that will let you rationalize your way into continue what you are doing now!
Finally, never, never follow a plan that starves you!
Best of times!
